This vineyard belongs to the Countess Lalande. It was a part of the old possessions of the family of Pichon-Longueville, which owned it for more than 200 years. The original vineyard is now divided into two parts, one of which is the property of Baron Raoul de Pichon-Longueville, and has a production of about 80 tuns a year; and the other belonging to the Countess Longueville, which produces about 75 tuns a year. The wines of the Pichon-Longueville vineyard enjoy a great reputation and are one of the most important of the region of the Pauillac. The other part of the Chateau Pichon-Longueville Lalande is property of the Baron

Pichon-Longueville, and as before stated, has been for more than 200 years in the family. The wine produced here is of the same character as on the other half of the estate which has just been described.
