The owner of this vineyard is Mr. Durand Dassier. It is most favorably situated, planted with choice varieties, and cultivated with the utmost care. It is also a neighboring vineyard to the Chateau Margaux. It produces a wine which unites in a marked degree all the qualities of the grand wines of the Medoc. It has a beautiful color and marvelous boquet, and enjoys a great reputation, especially in England. The annual output of this vineyard is about 60 tuns.
