The owners of this vineyard are Messrs. Pereire. It is situated partly in both of the communes of Can-tenac and Margaux and has an extent of 86 hectares, planted with the best varieties of vines, and has lately been enlarged by the addition of a vineyard of 30 hectares. The production of the Chateau Palmer is about 200 tuns annually, of a wine fine in character and well appreciated by all who use it. It enjoys a fine reputation in the commerce of the country.
