This vineyard, which is in the St. Julien region, is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Muicy Louys. The wines of this vineyard are quite marked in character, having a fine bouquet, and combining all the qualities of the best wines of the Medoc, and can be compared with the growths which are most esteemed, both of the Margaux and Cantenac regions. The grand vineyard of the Chateau Lagrange, by its exceptional situation and by the care with which it is constantly attended, has conquered most justly a universal reputation. The extent is 120 hectares, and the annual production is 250 tuns of red wine and 80 tuns of white wine.
