1. Joining

1. Pencil, rule, knife, and dividers

1. Square and true stock.

2. Clamping with and across grain

2. Jointer plane

2. Joint edges and dowel.

3. Cabinet and hand clamp

3. Clamp together.

3. Gluing

4. Smoothing plane

4. Wash off surplus glue.

4. Doweling

5. 3-8 inch bit and bit stock

5. Take off clamp (after 24 hours).

5. Cabinet scraping

6. Try-sqruare and marking gauge

6. Finish with smoothing plane and cabinet scraper.

7. Block and Jack plane
