Metallic Aluminium. Al.

A brilliant white silver-like metal, malleable and ductile, obtained by heating Chloride of Aluminium with Metallic Sodium.

It can be procured very pure in the form of foil.

Boenninghausen is said to have used this, but no reference to any proving has been found.

Preparation. - Trituration.
