This vineyard is owned by Mr. Louis Seze. It has an extent of 80 hectares, of which 46 are planted with grapes of the best varieties; its mean annual production is 100 tuns. The wines of this vineyard find almost their sole market in England, but also to some extent in Holland and Germany where they are particularly well thought of. Their keeping qualities are remarkable, and it has been established that samples taken after 40 years are found to be perfectly preserved. The wines of the Chateau La Lagune have obtained numerous medals at various expositions.
