This vineyard is the property of the celebrated wine merchant of Bordeaux, Mr. Nathaniel Johnston. It has a most favorable situation on a gravely soil and the varieties of the vines are of the finest. It produces a wine which is very much sought after on account of its bouquet and its generous body. It has obtained diplomas of honor and gold medals in various expositions, and it produces annually about 100 tuns of wine.
