The owner of this vineyard is Dr. A. Delguel. It is one of the oldest domains of the Gironde and was noted on the maps of the 13th century. It has an extent of 75 hectares, and produces both red and white wine. Some of these wines have at times obtained a very high price; for instance, in 1887, when the old wines sold for 1,600 francs a tun.
