Pale Spiked Lobelia
Lobelia spicata. Lobelia Family. July - Aug.
Found in dry, sandy soil, meadows. Prince Edward Island to Ontario, westward and southwest.
Flowers
Pale bluish violet, upper lip of 2 narrow, erect lobes, lower lip spreading, 8-lobed; flowers borne in loose spikes, terminating stem 1 - 4 feet high.
Leaves
Lower leaves oblong, obtuse, upper leaves narrow, slightly toothed.
