S. tectorum: barren shoots forming globular tufts; flowering stems stout, succulent, one foot high; leaves very thick, fleshy, ending in a short point, fringed; flowers pink, sessile along the spreading or recurved viscid branches of the cyme; petals linear. - Cottage roofs and old walls. Fl. July.
