Unedo: an evergreen tree, with rough bark; leaves elliptic-lanceolate, serrated, coriaceous, glabrous; panicle terminal, nodding, pedicels glabrous, the flowers whitish, pendulous; fruit globular, granulated, red, resembling a strawberry, but dry and flavourless. - Strawberry Tree. - Lakes of Kil-larney.
