Fold 3, 4, up one-half inch. Turn handkerchief over and again fold up one-half inch, repeating on alternate sides until the entire handkerchief is folded fanwise into a long half inch strip.



Holding A and B firmly and pulling tightly, fold B over to A, fastening about three-quarters of an inch below the fold, for the head.

Turn sideways and about two inches below the head, fasten for the waist.

Between the neck and the waist pull out enough material to give the effect of bent elbows.

Below the waist twist each hanging corner very tightly for the legs and pull for length. Puff out the remaining material around the figure for the whirling skirt and fold corners forward.
